Blog 1 - Hire an Illustrator

For this assignment, I chose artist Barbara Dekeyser. She is a conceptual illustrator, which means most of her ideas presented in her work are more important than the finished product itself. One of the more famous conceptual artists is Yoko Ono, who you could say is more famous for breaking up the Beetles. In Dekeyser’s words, she “likes to make people think.” Her work definitely made me think, that is, because that’s what made me start scrolling through 128 of her other uploads.
